I'm writing this today after I just stuffed my face with a fantastic lunch...which makes this post easier to write not only because I have a ton of easy tips to help you pack your lunch, but because my belly is full and I'm feeling happy and satisfied. pack your lunch the night before.
use dinner leftovers: a great way to use already prepared food.
check your colors: eat the rainbow, add more variety to your diet.
finger foods are fun: crunchy & good for you. Chop up veggies & fruit
think beans, grains & greens: cheap, easy to store and prepare in advance.
fill up a pita pocket: Craving a meaty sandwich? add lentils, lettuce, hummus, cucumbers and go.
soup: warm & hearty, Double a batch & freeze for another week.
pre portioned out hummus cups with colorful veggie sticks.
defrosted frozen edamame. A real food protein delight.
the ultimate fast food...fruit..banana, orange and apple. Filled with fiber.
