As most of you know who have been reading this blog for awhile, I'm a huge podcast listener. Over the holidays I was searching for a few fresh ones to help keep me motivated to eat well and live my best life.
I found the Health Bridge with Dr. Sara Gottfried and Pedram Shojai OMD.
They're quite a pair, easy to listen to and offer a nice blend of real life nutrition with holistic health.
Pedram is the founder of well.org and also the writer and director behind the movie Origins. A free documentary on the health and well being of humans living our modern life on planet earth.
Grab some non-gmo popcorn or a green smoothie and watch. It's sure to motivate you to be more aware of how we live and what we put in our body as fuel.
In the film they described food as information for the body. I loved this idea as it really is vital information we deliver to ourselves each day. It turns into our cells, tissues and allows our body to function.
I encourage you to watch the free film, pay more attention to what's at the end of your fork and notice how food makes you feel.
